Tricky Women / Tricky Realities is an international animation film festival centered on feminist perspectives, celebrating works by female and genderqueer artists. For 25 years it has held a significant place in the global festival landscape — presenting competition programs, retrospectives, curated screenings, and discursive formats that foster community around innovative animation from Austria and beyond.

We took on the full project: website design, development, and a logo refresh. Looking at both the current and original logo, we traced the festival's visual roots and found the dot — a small but essential element that had always been there. We refined the logo around it, stripping back to something cleaner and more modern while staying true to its origin. That same dot became the anchor for the website design, threading a consistent visual idea through the whole project.
